The World Food Day (WFD) is celebrated annually on the 16th October 2018. The theme for 2018 WFD is a zero hunger world is possible by 2030. The Lower Eastern and Coastal Zone held a training organic poultry keeping for the Olonana Organic Group through its MO CSHEP based at Kiserian in Kajiado County. PELUM Kenya organized a 3 days workshop on Climate Change and Policies from 6th -8th June, 2017. T The objective of the workshop was to increase knowledge and skills on policies ( process, analysis, monitoring and influencing) on climate change adaptation.
PELUM Kenya organized a feedback dissemination workshop for its PENELI III programme baseline study. The dissemination workshop was held at SACDEP Kenya on 12th May 2017. The participants wer: selected PELUM Kenya MOs, farmer representatives and PELUM Kenya programme staff.
The 2017 Annual General Meeting for PELUM Kenya network was held on the 23rd June 2017 at Legacy Hotel, Nakuru. The AGM targeted CEOs of the member organizations and if they were not available, senior officers from among the Member Organizations are required.
PELUM Kenya undertakook baseline survey for its PENELI III programme from the 20th to 31st March 2017. The baseline survey was undertaken in all the six PELUM Kenya zones by the Results Based Management office.
