The work of the Knowledge Centre for Organic Agriculture and Agroecology (KCOA) includes the potential to support the transitions to organic and other more ecological oriented agricultural practices throughout Africa. KCOA Project is implemented by more than 30 civil society organizations across 18 countries which are working in a country-led cooperative partnership. The primary configuration of KCOA Digital Platform is aimed at strengthening farmers and other stakeholders by means of providing knowledge, networking opportunities, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and partnerships.

Objectives:

  1. Promote organic farming and agroecology.
  2. Increase the practice/farming methods via the network of five knowledge hubs in Africa.
