Nature of Conference: A 3-day conference on changing food systems in Africa in the context of agro-ecology and nutrition. Presentations, plenary discussions, group work sessions and seed/food fairs organized by farmers’ groups.
Purpose of the Conference: To build knowledge and generate compelling narratives around agro-ecology as a genuine and holistic alternative to industrial food systems, and to strategically engage key stakeholders, including government actors, to support alternative food systems for better health and nutrition.
